Berry Creek Falls Hike at Big Basin
We love a good hike and the Berry Creek Loop at Big Basin is pretty epic. The highlight of this very popular hike is a 60 foot waterfall found after four miles of pristine redwood forest in a steep-sided canyon.
This time of year you can find the creeks full of California newts.

Help us Pick the Winning PIc
I haven't been blogging lately because I recently joined the world of FaceBook, another wonderful way I seem to waste my time.
And for those of you who follow our blog, you may remember an earlier post of Silvia's and my dance off. Well, I just want you to know that Sil and I have been practicing a few new dance moves like the reject, the jerk, and stanky leg and may need some judges to let us know who is the best.

6This is at one of my surf spots, 4 mile. From the parking lot you can't see the ocean. I love running down the trail and hitting this point where you first see the waves and either start sprinting or start walking depending on how good it is.
