This past saturday I had my first California Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA) tournament in Santa Cruz. There are 3 ranking levels in CBVA; A ( medium level), AA (intermediate level) and AAA (advanced level). After AAA is Pro.
I played in the AA. It was very competitive. There were a lot of great players that have been playing beach for years. I had a lot of fun with my partner Thira. We didn't get to the finals, but we had a good time and we are can't wait for the next tournament.
